Tasha + Andrew

A Backyard, Family Wedding in Simcoe, Ontario

Love, laughter and happily ever after. Add in a dash of ring bearer cuteness, the most amazing array of eats (were talking a gelato truck, a popcorn bar, late night charcuterie and the Bea Bar!) I mean what else could a bride ask for…. oh wait thats right, the most supportive friends and family filled with love, all on your in-laws property, landscaped specially for your big day.

Tasha and Andrews wedding was a dream, and before I left I couldn’t help but submit an application for adoption, because this family was pure love and couple happy tears. These two welcomed me with open arms and made it so easy to be a part of their day, and I am so thrilled I had the honour and privilege to photograph it for them.

I honestly love when a bride and groom takes a moment for a first look together. Its intimate, its meaningful and its all theirs! Wedding days can be so crazy busy, but this little moment together allows you to remember exactly what the day is all about. Your love. And I think Tasha and Andrew did just that, as they stole many moments away together, just soaking in the moment with little pockets of time throughout the day! And I got to capture it all.

Also can we just take a quick moment to fan girl over how gorgeous Tasha’s lavender theme turned out!

Tasha and Andrew said I do, but they wanted to remember it all, including the people there with them. They requested a photo with their guest behind them so even years later they can soak in the magic of being surrounded by all their loved ones as they begin their biggest and best adventure. Just another little way they took the day from not just beautiful but oh so meaningful.

And just like that, they were husband and wife!

The love of the party….

…the life of the party…

and dont forget… the wedding party!

Andrew! You have such a special relationship with your mom. She has such a big heart of gold, and it seriously got me right in the feels capturing this one. (so there’s no way I could leave it out of the blog post!)
